How many members do we have?

We have 13 active members and about 90 Buddies. Every year, we take care of more than 150 international students.

Who are we and what do we do?

Erasmus Student Club is a voluntary student organisation at the Institute of Chemical Technology in Prague. It was founded in 2004.
We are a group of young and outgoing people, mostly with experiences with studying abroad. We help foreign students to enjoy their stay in Czech Republic, find new friends and enjoy the time spent together.

The main activity of ESC is the organization of the Orientation Week at the beginning of each semester. During this week, we help Erasmus students to integrate into the university, discover Prague and to get to know each other. The Czech students involved in the Buddy Program are also doing a great job by providing information and guidance to the Erasmus students during their first weeks in the Czech Republic and, if the circumstances allow, during the whole time of their stay.

Throughout the year, we organize several weekend or one day trips to various parts of the Czech Republic. We also organise excursions, parties and cultural and sporting events. In the Tandem Program, we arrange mutual teaching of mother languages between Erasmus and Czech students.
