What is Vojtech's story?

My life began long time ago but when I join my first ESN club all my life has changed. There is nothing in my life what changed me more than ESN. After two amazing years in ISC CTU in Prague I moved to another university in Liberec where we created a new ESN club and spread the spirit further. Then after another two great years I found the way to be Knowledge Manager in the National Board of ESN CZ. Now I have second chance to move ESN CZ forward. Welcome to read, ask, react and move the ESN CZ forward. We all have the same way to send ESN spirit to all the Europe. I'm glad that I can help a bit but remember the key is you, all the active ESN members who organize events and fulfill the motto "Students helping students".

Say hi to us, Barbora!

Hi, my name is Barbora and I came from North part of Bohemia. I study law at University Palacky in Olomouc. Two years ago I found out that there are lot of people, who are helping international students. So I joined my ESN home section (ESN UP Olomouc) and became president one year later. During this year I was amazed by whole ESN word. It took only a while and I ended up at the international level. Where I had the luck to work with amazing people in International Committee for Education. I attended few international meeting and that was the moment, when I realized that NR position is my dream. In November this dream came true and I am happy that I can represent ESN CZ in whole Europe.

Hello, Jakub!

Hi, my name is Kuba, I come from Pilsen (the capital city of beer) and I study AI (Artificial Intelligence) here, at the University of West Bohemia (UWB). In my first year of study I found out that there are some student organizations in Pilsen and I came across the ESN. After attending several National Platforms I realized  I wanted to be part of something bigger than just my little section, so I decided to run for the Knowledge manager of the National board, a position which is very unique in the whole ESN and was originated in my home section, ESN Pilsen.  My hobbies besides ESN are music, movies, friends, and travelling.

Katerina, who are you?

Alena, what is your story?

Hello, my name is Alena. I am originally from Prague but I study in Brno, one of the best student towns in the Czech Republic! My life with ESN started as a buddy/tutor for international students in ISC MU Brno, the ESN STARlight award section of 2010. After some time  I became a board member and a Head of PR, a position which led to my election as a PR Responsible on a national level for this year. As every  ESN member I enjoy travelling, getting to know new cultures and people, learning new languages, sharing ideas and opinions. Besides that I am passionate about my Romance languagues studies; I love to read, write and analise texts and my favourite places in the world are Rio de Janeiro, Porto, Santiago de Compostela and south of Spain (but of course, they are still many others that I need to explore!). I am really looking forward to my NB12 year, to learn more and to spread the ESN spirit, hope you enjoy it with us!

Klara, tell us something!

When I came back from Switzerland where I spent one semester on Erasmus in St. Gallen I was frightened like the person on the painting by Edvard Munch - Scream, what am I gonna do next semester in the Czech republic? Finally the VSE - Buddy System saved me. They took me on in their team, showed me ESN - Spirit and how to collect points for the Super Juyce Committee. With a desire for something to achieve I signed up to the National Board as Fundraiser. My biggest goal is to inspire and interest more students and companies with our philosophy.

And what is your story, Jirka?

I am really happy to be in the ESN CZ National Board and even though I have never been on Erasmus I took part in other exchange programs. I finished my bachelor degree in Software Engineering and Management with specialization in Web and Multimedia at Czech Technical University in Prague. For my study abroad I visited various places and those are Union College, New York; University of New Orleans, Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, and University of Seoul, South Korea. My hobbies are graphics design, photography, typography, and anything art related. After spending my summer in South Korea and visiting China and Japan I fell in love with Asian countries and in the current board I am the one promoting everything Asian.
