How many members do we have?

Around 350 international exhange students per year, still growing. 25 Czech members of ISC VUT at this moment (20 of them active).

Who are we and what we do?

The International Students Club at BUT is a voluntary, non-political, non-profit and independent organization, established in 2004. Since then ISC operates successfully. ISC joined ESN in November 2007.
ISC helps international students of Exchange programmes (ERASMUS, CEEPUS and others) with all aspects of their life and study at BUT e.g. pick up service, information meetings, creation of ISC web pages, preparation of cultural events and activities, organization of presentations of the nations, language courses etc. Besides that we also support integration of Erasmus students among Czech students. We do that by organizing parties, tandem language courses and by course Czech4fun.
All these activities pursue a goal of creating both delight and joy among Erasmus students and also help in promotion of Erasmus programme. Special lectures and seminars about Erasmus programme for each single faculty of BUT, which we cooperate on, also help to increase awareness and popularity of this programme. Thus whole cycle of Erasmus students going out and in the country is completed.

ISC VUT main activities

  • Presentation of nations, cities and universities
  • Language courses (Tandem courses and Czech4fun)

  • Regular Exchange of ISC members with ESN Utrecht – section from Brno´s partner city with a purpose to share know-how and experiences together

The International Students Club team creates fantastic group of people, who take care of averall organisational background of all prepared activities and events. Our ISC office is in fakulty of business and management, right next to snacj bar; room number E 223.

What is our motivation?

We like the idea of an international Exchange programme Erasmus. It´s our pleasure to develop Erasmus spirit and we believe that our existence has deeper sense.
